This is a great all-day adventure for the whole family. We begin way up above tree line on Trail Ridge Road and explore the first few miles of the Ute Trail through the alpine tundra. Humans have used this trail for thousands of years and we will discuss some of this rich history. This is our favorite hike for families and those who don’t want to hike very far but still want a mountain experience. We can also explore some of the short hikes off of Trail Ridge and see some of the most impressive views in the lower 48! ​

7:00 -  KMAC guide will pick you up and take you to the trailhead*
7:45 - Arrive at Ute Trailhead
7:55 - Orientation
8:05 - Begin trail to Ute Trail
11:00 - Lunch
13:05 - Snack Break
14:05 -  End of trail
14:15 - KMAC transports you back to The Stanley Hotel
15:00 - Arrive back at The Stanley hotel
