Lucy's Spirited Grand King

A bright corner room at the front of the Stanley, Lucy’s Spirited Grand King provides spacious accommodations, a beautiful view of the Rocky Mountains and a spirited story. The room offers a comfortable king bed, sleeper sofa, spacious bathroom with step-in shower, armoire, writing desk, complimentary Wi-Fi, 42” television and coffee maker.

Named for the spirit of Lucy, a young girl known for her playful nature and fondness for exploring all areas of the resort, the room’s guests have reported playful laughter, items being moved and waking up to the feeling of someone bouncing lightly at the foot of the bed. Guests have also reported the feeling of a small presence kneading on the covers, which is very possibly Comanche, F.O. Stanley’s cat, who would be a natural companion and playmate of Lucy.
