The Stanley Hotel Launches “Table at The Lodge” Chef Dinner Series

ESTES PARK, Colo. – July 19, 2013 – Stanley Hotel Executive Chef Richard Beichner recently announced that he will be hosting a special series of dinners at The Lodge at The Stanley this summer. Table at The Lodge dinners will feature elegant farm-to-table menus consisting of hand-selected produce, local meats and fish. The special series is available every Friday and Saturday night through August at 6:30 p.m.

The four-course Table at The Lodge dinners are $65 per person and include the meal, a welcome cocktail and after-dinner coffee. Select wines and cordials also are available at additional cost. Tax and gratuity not included. Seating is limited to 20 guests.

A longtime proponent of slow food, sustainability and the farm-to-table movement, Chef Beichner quickly established relationships with local cattle ranches and farmers to ensure he incorporates locally sourced and seasonal items into his menu selections. The Table at The Lodge menu will feature products he’s sourced from these farms as well as the local farmers’ market. Summer staples include peaches from nearby Palisade and Rocky Ford cantaloupes, sweet and juicy melons that Colorado has been known for since 1881.

Steps away from the grand and mysterious Stanley Hotel is The Lodge at The Stanley, equally impressive, colorfully historic and quickly becoming a destination unto itself. Once known as the Manor House, the 40-room boutique inn was a bachelor’s building, created specifically, and solely, for men. Today, it attracts refined travelers searching for an authentic slice of mountain life gone-by, with all the added luxuries of the new millennium.
