Estes Park Flood Recovery

Estes Park has experienced flooding that continues to affect the greater Estes Valley. The downtown Elkhorn Avenue area, many businesses and Rocky Mountain National Park have re-opened for access 

The Stanley Hotel is also open for guests including guest room accommodations, and restaurant service in Cascades Restaurant and Steamers Cafe. The outlets are also open, including Madame Vera - our resident psychic, the gift shop, and the tours department is offering tours as well.

Transportation

Highway 36 (through Lyons) is now open for passage. Highway 34 will re-open November 21, 2013 at 11 am.  Highway 119 via Boulder Canyon as well as through Highway 72 via Blackhawk  on the Peak to Peak Highway are alternate routes for travel to Estes Park.
