Keeping with the historic nature of the hotel, we do not have air conditioning in the Main Hotel nor in The Lodge at The Stanley.
Pet Policy
Dogs are only allowed in The Lodge at The Stanley. A $50 nonrefundable pet fee is applicable to each stay. One dog is allowed per room and must be under 50 lbs. The Stanley Hotel allows only dogs, we apologize for any inconveinence. Additional fees may apply for additional cleaning and damage.

The Lodge at The Stanley Rooms
The Lodge at The Stanley is designed as a comfortable, elegant getaway for those looking to escape from it all and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Rocky Mountains. The Lodge is located adjacent from our main building and features daily continental breakfast in the Manor Hall. Enjoy your time relaxing in this quiet setting, which was opened in 1910 and originally used for housing bachelors in the early 1900’s.

Haunted Rooms
The Stanley Hotel features a variety of rooms with high paranormal activity including the famous Stephen King Suite 217, the Ghost Hunters' favorite room 401; as well as 407, 428 and 1302. These are among our most-requested rooms, availability is limited.

Suites

Presidential Cottage
The Presidential Cottage features three bedrooms and two and a half baths on the main and upper level (each with a king size bed), as well as a kitchenette, a dining and living room area, and a private deck off the living room and master bedroom. In addition, two garden-level units can be opened to the main cottage, each with their own king bed and bathroom. Sold together, the Presidential Cottage features five bedrooms and four-and a half bathrooms. The Presidential Cottage is air-conditioned.
